Privacy Policy
Alchemy Gamer (alchemy-gamer.com) · Last updated 2026-07-22
Alchemy Gamer is a free browser/app game. This page describes, plainly and completely,
what data the game collects and why. There is no advertising, no analytics/tracking SDKs,
and no sale of data to anyone.
What we collect
- Username — whatever you choose at registration. Pick a nickname, not your real name:
usernames and gameplay stats are shown publicly on the shared leaderboard.
- PIN — used only to protect your account. It is one-way hashed (argon2) before storage;
we never store or can see your actual PIN.
- Session token — a random token issued at login. Only its hash is stored on the server;
the real token stays in your browser/app's local storage to keep you signed in.
- Gameplay data — gold, inventory, fuse/win statistics, leaderboard rank. This exists to run
the game and has no value outside it.
- IP address — processed automatically (not tied to your account) to rate-limit abuse such as
login brute-forcing and spammed requests. The app server also writes standard operational logs
(which include IP addresses, as almost every web server does) for debugging and abuse response;
these are not used for tracking or profiling and are not shared with anyone.
What we don't do
- No ads, no ad networks, no analytics/tracking SDKs.
- No real-money purchases — all in-game currency is virtual and free.
- No selling, renting, or sharing your data with third parties.
- No cookies — sign-in uses a bearer token, not cookies.
Where your data lives
Everything is stored in a database we run ourselves — there's no third-party backend or
cloud data broker involved.
Your rights
To request a copy of your data or permanent deletion of your account, email
tobi.wagener@gmail.com with your username.
We'll act on it promptly.
Children
Alchemy Gamer is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
